I found this hotel to be a charming older property that has been beautifully restored and is well-kept. The location was fantastic, close to several parks and a short walk to the trendy Silver Lake neighborhood filled with great cafes. The staff was attentive, and the breakfast was sufficient to start my day. However, the rooms had some issues, including a strong odor of cigarette smoke that detracted from the experience.
